In addition to being honored as one of the most reputable companies in the country, Samsung was also presented with two awards by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR program: Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award, for the fourth consecutive year, and Partner of the Year – Climate Communications Award, for the third year in a row. Samsung was recognized for the innovative use of environmentally-conscious materials in its 2016 Curved Full HD TV (UN55K6250) and its easy-to-disassemble, snap-together parts which eliminate the use of many screws and make it easier for recyclers to recover.

Since 2001, the company has contributed more than $46 million to help more than 1,000 schools, hospitals, and foundations throughout the U.S.
