IT/Dev Connections 2017,I know many of you have been waiting for this to go live, so today I’m happy to announce that the Call for Content for IT/Dev Connections 2017 is now officially open!
We gave our 2016 speakers early access to submit last week and today we’re opening up the submission capability to everyone.
- Go to the following link: Speakers, welcome to IT/Dev Connections 2017
- Read through the requirements. <– IMPORTANT!!
- Page down until you see the “Submit a New Proposal” button.
Requirements: The requirements for proposals are extremely important as IT/Dev Connections is not your normal conference. IT/Dev Connections is one of the deepest technical and community driven events available, ensuring ultimate value for all attendees. It’s not a fluff piece by any means. It’s absolutely the best training opportunity available all year. So, make sure when submitting your proposals, you strictly follow these guidelines to ensure your ideas get immediate traction from our Track Chairs.
Deadlines: The Call for Content period will last from January 23, 2017 to February 17, 2017 – so while it seems you have a bit of time to concoct your most perfect session ideas yet, time can slip away quickly. Don’t miss the window!
TIP: Submit as many ideas as you can muster! The more ideas you submit, the easier it is for our Track Chairs to identify topics that might be missing from the conference story. We may even ask you to combine topics into a single session. We require our speakers to deliver at least two sessions during the week, but you might be asked to deliver more than that.
We look forward to working with you this year and we are positive that your contributions will ensure IT/Dev Connections is better than ever in 2017!
IT/Dev Connections 2017 runs from October 23-26, 2017 in San Francisco.
5 Technical Tracks and 1 Sponsor Track with Great Content from Industry Experts and Solutions Providers.
The IT/Dev Connections teams work hard in the background to bring a seamless and valuable experience each year so all you have to do is show-up.
One of those teams is responsible for the content. Called Track Chairs, these individuals sift through the submitted session proposals to hand-select just the right content and just the right speakers. There’s no question that the content provided at IT/Dev Connections is just right. Our content provides deep technical education without even a hint of marketing or keynote fluff. Developing great and valuable content like we have each year for IT/Dev Connections takes a lot of work, but the effort gets a lot easier when we have the right people on the content team.
